A lifelong learner, Renee Wallace joins Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Treasure as a sales agent after many years in other departments on the Treasure Team. Starting out with another firm, she just knew that Treasure was her home and she’s happy to be here, ready to serve her clients.

Experience and Expertise:

Renee Wallace may be new to Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, but she’s no stranger to the Treasure Team, having been a part of the Treasure family for 9 years prior to a short break, then rejoining the team in 2024.

During her career with Treasure, she has spent time in many departments, from maintenance, to vacation rentals, to front desk specialist, and finally to sales – getting her full real estate license in 2018. 

Renee finds that being upfront, honest, and transparent with her clients is key. Being available to them and getting answers as quickly as possible, and always doing what you promise. Her tip – “Smile when you talk on the phone, people can hear the smile.”

With years as a military spouse, Renee understands what it’s like to serve. And she understands the hardships many military families experience when it comes to relocation. This led her to complete her Military Relocation Professional certification and she is ready to serve our many military families’ real estate needs. 

Journey:

Renee was born and raised in New Haven CT, in a bilingual (Cajun French) family, but just like so many others, she spent her summers in North Topsail Beach with family. This is what instilled her deep love of the beaches, the people, the seafood and the area in general. 

Even though her children are grown, she still finds great joy in cooking big meals, gathering family and friends at the holidays, and celebrating all the little milestones with those she loves. Another passion is participating in the CHEW program, a program that assists children in our community by providing backpacks filled with child-friendly, easy to prepare meals over the weekend. 

An unexpected and devastating medical emergency really changed her outlook. Always a positive person by nature, now Renee says, “It’s even more important to give back, be kind and treat others as you wish to be treated. Life is just too short to be negative.”
